i have a project in mind and would like to ask a few questions.
I have a design for a custom frame made with flat bar stock
bent the hard way. It is not going to be a big engine bike with
a heavy weight to it. but i would still like a sturdy frame.
what is a good flat bar stock to use for this?
I was thinking either 2 x 1/4 or 1 1/2 x 1/4 what do you think?

thanks

wayne

Why not 1x1 considering that flat bar would bend quite easily with all of the jarring and bouncing.
Also, you could heat it up and add twists here and there, making it your design.
Chrome or any color paint would do.
